Beverly Paterson

I was born in Halifax and educated at Dalhousie University (BAHon, BSc) then later University of Calgary (MSc). My work history includes ocean studies (1976 -1983) then investment and portfolio management and a directorship (1984 until 2015 retirement).

My art education was at first self taught, then I enjoyed studies in sculpture technique, anatomy, and gesture with: Linda Lindsay (Victoria, BC), Scott Eaton (UK), Simon Kogan (Olympia, WA), Brian Booth Craig (Rome), David Simon (Rome), Stephen Perkins (Oakland, CA), Alicia Ponzio (Rome) and Martine Vaugel (France). This is a life long learning pursuit and I am grateful for the many experiences with my teachers.
